Every quote we send is prepared for your dates, group size, and chosen route. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the details and received your deposit. We will always confirm availability and the final price in writing before you pay anything.
A deposit is required to hold your dates and begin arranging permits, guides, and crew. The exact deposit amount is stated on your quote. The remaining balance is normally due before your trek or safari begins. We accept bank transfer, and the payment details are shared with your quote.
Park fees and permits are set by the Tanzanian national parks and can change. If a government fee changes after your booking, we will tell you before your trip and adjust only that fee.
A 30% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure date, and we will email you a secure Stripe payment link to pay it online whenever it suits you.
Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking, since there is no time to arrange a separate balance payment.
We know plans change, so we keep this simple and fair. Refunds work like this:
Date changes: one free reschedule up to 45 days before departure, subject to availability. The full policy is on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page.
On the mountain, the decision of your guide is final, especially regarding health and altitude. Reaching the summit is never guaranteed, and your safety always comes first. If a guide decides you must descend, we support that decision.
Travel and medical insurance is your responsibility and is not included in our prices. Please make sure your policy covers high-altitude trekking and any activities you have booked with us.
If anything here is unclear, email us at bookings@nyotatrek.com or visit us on Market Street, Moshi, Tanzania. We are happy to explain everything before you book.
